TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR NOOK CUSTOMER REFERRAL PROGRAM


1. Introduction

By participating in the NooK Customer Referral Program, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). The referral program is operated by My Nook Pty Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"), an Australian company located at 14 Inman Rd Cromer NSW 2099, and is subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Customer Referral Program, you must:

  • Have a valid email address and access to the internet.
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to participate.

3. Referral Program Overview

Once you Join the NooK Referral Program, you will receive a Unique Referral Code that you may share with your friends and family or on Private Social Media channels. This code can also be found on the Profile Page of your Customer Account.  

4. How the Referral Program Works

  • Share Your Referral Code: You can share your unique Referral Code with friends, and family or on private Social Media profiles. You cannot share your Referral Code on Social Media Groups or public Social Media channels.
  • Your Friends Save: New customers who use your Referral Code at checkout will receive a $50 discount on orders over $495.
  • You Earn Rewards: For every eligible purchase made using your Referral Code, you will earn a $50 voucher as a referral reward. These rewards can be added together to earn free products or used as part payment for an order.

5. Referral Program Terms

  • Self-Referrals Are Not Allowed: You cannot use your Referral Code to make your own purchases or to make purchases being delivered to your household.
  • Minimum Purchase Requirement: The Referral Discount applies only to orders of $495 or more. The Referral Reward can be applied to orders of any value.
  • Referral Reward Delivery: Referral rewards will be emailed to you once your referral makes an eligible purchase which is fulfilled by My Nook Pty Ltd. The average fulfilment time for an order is 5-7 days.
  • Cancelled or Ineligible Purchases: Referral rewards will not be granted if the referred purchase is cancelled before dispatch or deemed ineligible for any reason (e.g. fraudulent activity). 
  • One Referral Discount per Order: Only one Referral Discount can be used per transaction.
  • No Cash Value: Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred.
  • Prohibited Use of Referral Codes: Referral Codes may not be shared on public forums, referral code websites, coupon sites, or other similar platforms. If My NooK deems actions inappropriate, we reserve the right to revoke referral rewards and ban the Referral Code.

6. Changes to the Program

My NooK reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Customer Referral Program at any time without prior notice. This includes changing the value of referral discounts, rewards, and the terms of the program.

7. Responsible Sharing

We encourage you to share your Referral Code responsibly with friends, family, and on private social media channels. However, you are prohibited from using NooK’s trademarks without express permission, engaging in misleading activities, or making false claims about the Referral Program. Any unauthorised use or abuse of the program may result in disqualification from the program.

8. Data Privacy

By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge that we may collect and use your personal information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, My NooK will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage, including consequential loss, that arises from your participation in the Referral Program or use of the Referral Code. This includes but is not limited to technical issues, system malfunctions, or unauthorised use of the Referral Code.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia.

By using your Referral Code, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must refrain from participating in the Customer Referral Program.
