NO WAY! So how does NooK vs The Rest stack up? Well, we'd love to tell you about what we put into NooK that makes us Australia's Favourite Play Furniture brand and why it's always better investing in Australian Made quality:

Creating NooK as the original Play Sofa, we ensured we could offer the best possible pricing for the best possible quality. We created NooK using the best individual components and our Aussie construction. This ensures you are getting the best VALUE for the price - that what you are paying for is reflected in the quality you receive.

What does this mean? Investing in a NooK is investing in the best quality fabrics, foam, zips and construction by our talented Sydney team. It also means we never go on sale so you can buy with confidence!

What to look out for? The high cost of international container shipping means a large part of the purchase price of imported brands is just in the shipping to get it here!

100% Australian Made

NooK have always manufactured our Play Furniture from start to finish right here in our Sydney Fun Factory. We never import finished covers or compressed foam!

What does this mean? That we can truly stand behind the quality of our prioduct (and easily fix any issues that may occur) as well as building a sustainable Australian Business!

What to look out for: Others may mention "Australian Business", "Designed in Australia" or "Australian Owned" which is all great - but NooK is the only Play Sofa brand made start to finish in a custom designed Manufacturing facility maintaining Aussie jobs!

Our Three Year Warranty

So most of these awesome NooK differences bring us to this big one - we can stand behind our NooKs with a Three Year Warranty! Any issues are easily resolved or repaired in our Sydney Factory and building a sustainable Aussie Family Business means we'll always be around to help!

What does this mean? That we believe in our product and our quality and that we are committed to creating years of value and avoiding landfill!

What to look out for? What warranty is on offer and what restrictions are placed on this - many brands don't warranty products if they have been compressed too long for example!

Only Aussie Foams

Australian Foam quality is some of the best in the world - GECA certification is up to twice as strong as the Certi-Pur certification used by imported brands!

What does this mean? This ensures all NooK foams meet Australian Standards and are safer for your family and contain no nasties!

What to look out for: Certi-Pur foam certification allows more than double the level of Volatile Organic Compounds and allows trace limits of Hazardous Materials!

We're so lucky to have thousands of VERIFIED Five Star Reviews and so many people first come to NooK through a personal recommendation. We never incentivise for reviews, so anything you read here is exactly what our customers think (and it's also why our reviews are so detailed!)

What does this mean? We are always focused on our customer first! We want them to love our NooKs as much as we do - so we create the best products and deliver the best service!

What to look out for? Always make sure anyone you buy from has real (Verified) reviews that sound like they come from real customers. The longer a review is, the more loved the product!

We don't compress cut foam!

Foam is BIG! So we get it - if you're shipping from overseas you really need to squash it up to save on shipping! Problem is, foam doesn't like being compressed and doesn't go back to the perfect shape afterwards meaning baggy covers!

What does this mean? We want NooKs to look beautiful and last for years - not end up in landfill - so we don't compress our foams which ensures precision fit on our covers and makes sure your foams don't go flat!

What to look out for? Products that have been mass produced and shipped from China already compressed are not able to last as long due to long compression periods.

Our Quaity Fabrics are FULLY Tested

Very early on in our NooK days, we received this picture from one of our customers. And BOY were we glad that we insisted on only using fabrics tested to exceed Australian Fire Standards! This saved her family from a devastating fire and reminded us why this is so important.

What does this mean? All NooK Fabrics are tested to exceed AS1530.3 which ensures they are safe for your home as well as Oeko-Tex Standard 100 tested as safe for your family!

What to look out for? Imported products don't need to complete Fire Testing in Australia - this means that they can use flammable fabrics and not undergo the expensive testing and compliance we feel is essential!

Zip Together, Zip Apart

We designed our NooK to ensure maximum versatility which is why the Connecting zip that zips together our bases in pairs was essential! This offers more build possibilities as well as the option to use cushions separately for extra seating! And this also means if you get one cover dirty, you only need to pop one in the wash! Who needs more washing right!

What does this mean? Ultimate versatility means your NooK can be used for more, for longer! That your NooK has stability and strength in that crucial seam as well as the ability to use your NooK as four separate cushions!

What to look out for? Most Play Sofas have base cushions that are permanently connected. This gives them less versatility and makes washing covers a bigger job!
